Gianni Masci is an Italian guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, arranger and producer.
Between 2000 and 2019 he released six albums with Jolaurlo and the project UNA, touring extensively across Italy, Europe and the United States, and sharing stages with artists such as Siouxsie Sioux, Sting, Robert Plant and Carlos Santana.
Alongside his work as a performer, he has produced dozens of artists within the Italian independent music scene.
After a four-year break from music, he returned in 2024 with a new solo project built entirely around acoustic guitar and live looping. Starting as a busker, he gradually brought this project to psy-trance and tekno festivals, where his sound found a new dimension.
His live set transforms the guitar into a full electronic orchestra — synths, percussion and bass — creating a dancefloor-driven, psychedelic ritual that blends Mediterranean roots with contemporary club culture.
In contrast, his street performances remain minimal and intimate, focusing on direct human connection and presence.This duality lies at the core of his latest work, A Resonant Home — a project shaped between the street and the stage, where music becomes a space of resonance rather than performance

Tra il 2000 e il 2019 pubblica sei album con Jolaurlo e il progetto UNA, suonando in Italia, Europa e Stati Uniti e condividendo il palco con artisti come Siouxsie Sioux, Sting, Robert Plant e Carlos Santana.
Parallelamente all’attività live, produce decine di artisti della scena indipendente italiana.
Dopo una pausa di quattro anni dalla musica, torna nel 2024 con un nuovo progetto solista costruito interamente su chitarra acustica e live looping. Inizia suonando per strada come busker, per poi approdare rapidamente a festival psy-trance e tekno, dove il progetto trova una nuova dimensione.
Il suo live set trasforma la chitarra in una vera e propria orchestra elettronica — synth, percussioni e bassi — dando vita a un rituale psichedelico pensato per il dancefloor, in cui si incontrano radici mediterranee e cultura club contemporanea.
In contrasto, le performance in strada rimangono essenziali e intime, basate sulla presenza e sulla connessione diretta con le persone.
Questa dualità è al centro del suo ultimo lavoro, A Resonant Home — un progetto nato tra strada e palco, in cui la musica diventa uno spazio di risonanza più che di performance.
